Addvalue and Cloud Constellation Announce New Cooperation Agreement In Support of

Spacebelt Satellite Constellation Development 

Singapore, October 29 – Addvalue Innovation Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SGX Mainboard-listed Addvalue Technologies Ltd (“Addvalue”) (SGX: A31), and Cloud Constellation Corporation (“Cloud Constellation”) today announced a partnership focused on development of satellite products and services in support of Cloud Constellation’s SpaceBelt^TM Data Security as a Service (DSaaS) cloud services. Pursuant to a cooperation agreement signed at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2019) in Washington D.C. last week, Addvalue will lend its satellite communications expertise to the development and manufacture of SpaceBelt satellite communications terminal, as well as supporting design activities related to Cloud Constellation’s inter-satellite communication protocols and a high performance, space-resilient, software-defined, embedded hardware solution capable of supporting edge computing for artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain applications.

Cloud Constellation is poised to offer the world’s first cloud infrastructure and data storage service, based entirely in space. The company’s patented SpaceBelt architecture utilizes GEO partner’s satellites to securely transfer data between the customer’s enterprise location(s) and the SpaceBelt LEO network. This provides the strongest data security possible by offering global isolation from the terrestrial infrastructure of an enterprise or government organization’s high value, highly sensitive, mission-critical data assets.

Addvalue is uniquely equipped to provide Cloud Constellation with the satellite communications expertise required to enable direct and secure transfer of data stored on the SpaceBelt constellation, given the company’s recent success in its own Inter-satellite Data Relay System (“IDRS”) that  offers LEO satellite operators an on-demand real time connection to their satellite constellations. “This is exactly the type of next-generation LEO satellite communication technology that Cloud Constellation will need to ensure SpaceBelt’s success; and so, it is with great excitement that we announce the collaboration between our companies,” said Cliff Beek, Cloud Constellation’s CEO.
